Fish Shack

This fish shack on Nova Scotia’s South Shore is something I pass every day on my commute. For generations, places like this have been used by fishermen to store their boats and gear close to the water — practical structures built around hard work and life tied to the sea. Each time I drive by, it serves as a reminder of the quiet beauty of the South Shore and of the people whose livelihoods were shaped by long days, rough weather, and persistence on the water.
